What is Reiki?
The Reiki method of healing is rooted in an understanding of the body’s natural energy system. Reiki practitioners support health and quality of life by offering Reiki energy to help restore balance within the body, mind, and spirit.
Reiki is commonly used for personal self-care as well as for the care of family members. It is practiced in private settings and is also offered in hospitals and medical environments as a complementary and supportive therapy alongside traditional medical care.
The form of Reiki most widely practiced today, Usui Reiki, has been in use for over one hundred years and continues to be valued for its gentle, non-invasive approach to supporting overall wellness.
Reiki is love, Love is wholeness,
Wholeness is balance,
Balance is well-being,
Well-being is freedom from disease

Used as an alternative therapy for the treatment of physical, emotional, and mental diseases. According to the inscription on his memorial stone, Usui taught Reiki to over 2,000 people during his lifetime. Eleven of these students continued their training to reach the Shinpiden level, equivalent to the Western third degree or Master level.
